Started in 2009 and certified in 2016, the Pet Loss Resource Center (PLRC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing pet parents supportive resources as they face the most difficult part of owning a pet - end of life. Our mission is “To give support, guidance, and resources needed to people when a family pet has died or is nearing the end of life”.
The PLRC provides free support to the pet loving community. We have multiple certified Pet Loss Grief Counselor’s with various years of pet experience that work with the groups and individuals directly. We also have a Grief Support Therapist that specializes in the pet and human bond that we can direct you to if your needs may exceed what a group setting can provide.
Not only a resource for pet parents, the PLRC also provides supportive resources for those who care for pets – pet sitters, care takers, and veterinary staff.
